Two Fairy Tales for Thursday

I've got a lot to post on. But I just had something come through my email box that I felt inclined to share. In addition, I dug through the old email box and found another story that would pair nicely with the one I received today.

Everybody loves a good fairy tale, right?

The Worlds Shortest Fairytale (for women):

Once upon a time, a guy (a Prince) asked a girl (The Princess),

"Will you marry me?"

The girl said "No," and she lived happily ever after and went shopping, drank martinis with friends, always had a clean house, never had to cook, had a closet full of shoes and handbags, stayed skinny, and was never farted on.

The End.

A FAIRY TALE (for men)

One day, long, long ago....... there lived a woman who did not whine, nag or bitch.

But this was a long time ago....... and it was just that one day.

The End

Hey, do you mind if I use this "fairy tale" on my blog tomorrow as part of my "Friday Funny?" I'm posting some great photos of men and woman (husbands and wifes), and and this tale would fit with it PERFECTLY! And OF COURSE I'd link back to you and give you some bloggy love! Let me know! Thanks!!

The fairy tale made me think that if a tree falls in the forest...well, you know the rest. But I think the George Carlins parody statement is more appropriate:"If a man speaks in the forest and there is no woman there to hear it, is he still wrong?"

Those are awesome. But only the second one is a fairy tale. You haven't been living in the DC area. :)

Someone said something about a salad dish made with persimmons recently. I saw the first persimmons at the market this weekend. Hmmmm......
